J.J. Abrams revealed that he regrets on not agreeing to direct 'Star Wars
The 49-year-old director, whose 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' was recently released, has admitted that he is gutted about not agreeing to helm the next installment of the franchise, reports News24.com.
Abrams' close friend Greg Grunberg said in an interview, "Abrams read it and said something he never, ever says."
Abrams said that it's so good that he wishes he was making it, told Grunberg.
The flick will now be directed by 'Brick and Looper' hit-maker Rian Johnson.
