An encounter is underway between security forces and terrorists in the Redwani area of Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir.
The encounter broke out in the wee hours of Tuesday. Two to three terrorists are said to be holed up in the area. Security forces are on the job to restrain their movement.
More details of this operation are still awaited.
Six terrorists were neutralised by the security personnel in Kapran Batagund area during a gun battle in state's Shopian district on Sunday.
On November 22, one civilian sustained injuries during an exchange of fire between terrorists and security personnel in the Kulgam district. The exchange of fire ensued after terrorists fired upon an Army camp in Khudwani area of the district.
