All schools in Jammu and Kashmir's Nowshera have been closed for the time being in wake of the ongoing ceasefire violation by Pakistan.

The Pakistani Army earlier in the day initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector.

The Indian Army posts are also retaliating to the firing.

The firing is currently underway.
