Popstar-turned actress Jennifer Lopez recently announced her break-up with long time boyfriend Casper Smart.
The 47 year-old actress was dating the 29-year-old background dancer from the past five years with a brief separation in 2014.
As per a People Magazine report, the separation is confirmed and they will now remain friends.
"It wasn't anything dramatic and they were on good terms. It just came to a natural end. They will remain friends and they see each other, but they are not together. It was very amiable," an insider said.
After the news of their separation broke, Daily Mail quoted reports as saying that it was the 'Booty' hit-maker, who had made the decision to end their romance.
J-Lo, who was previously in a marriage with Marc Anthony, first united with her backup dancer boyfriend in 2011 while he was part of her tour.
