Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that Congress' claim of drastic cuts in the social sector spending by the government as a mere 'jugglery of figures'.
The Finance Minister further said that as the government is giving more money to states, they are now spending more on schemes.
Jaitley also slammed the Congress for questioning the Rafale fighter aircraft deal. He said that the government could not take 10 to 15 years to finalise a defence deal.
The Finance Minister also hailed the impact that the NDA regime has had in India during the last one year under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's steward leadership.
