Japan's Defence Minister arrives in India on three-day visit

Japan's Defence Minister General Nakatani is on three-day official visit to India from July 13 to July 15.
General Nakatani will begin his visit by laying a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti, India Gate at 11.30 a.m. on Thursday. He will then be accorded a tri-services guard of honour on the South Block lawns outside Gate No. 2 at 11.40 a.m.
He will be meeting his Indian counterpart Manohar Parrikar at Kota House at 12 p.m.
The visit is aimed at reviewing existing defence ties between the two countries and the way forward.
