Jayalalithaa launches Chennai Metro service
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa launched the Chennai Metro service on Monday.
The first metro train left Alandur station for Koyambedu after the Chief Minister launched the service.
This metro service will make Chennai stand alongside New Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Jaipur to have metro connectivity.
