Joe Wright to take director's chair for Anne Hathaway's The Lifeboat

Joe Wright is in negotiations to take the directors chair for the upcoming flick "The Lifeboat."

The film based on Charlotte Rogans book, stars Anne Hathaway, who is also producing alongside Working Title, Film 360 and Focus Features, reported Deadline.com.

The film centers on a young newlywed-turned-widow standing trial in 1914 for murder.

The script is being penned by William Broyles Jr. who's also exec producing.
