Rahul Bose, who is coming with upcoming biopic 'Poorna,' believes the journey of Poorna Malavath inspired him as a person.
The 49 year-old, recently in an interview with YouTuber Jaby Koay said, "She has the eyes of the 200 years old, She's seen 6 people dead on her way up. The bodies are still there. They are like markers. She saw 6 dead bodies at 8000 meters plus when all you want to do is lie down and sleep, and you see these dead bodies and you know you still have 300 meters to go which is another 6 hours. She has all the infectious enthusiasm of a teenager."
He also mentioned how difficult it was for the 13 year-old to complete the expedition, not just physically but mentally as well.
As soon as Rahul got to know about the shocking story, he knew that he had to tell the world about the struggle she went through, to make our country proud.
Recently, the actor-turned-director confessed that if he could have, he would have shot on Everest, for the movie.
