A judge has denied Amanda Bynes' appeal to be released from an involuntary psych hold at a mental health facility in Ventura County.

Stating the reasons behind her plea rejection the judge said that the 27-year-old troubled starlet was still not stable on her medicines and wasn't formally diagnosed yet, Radaronline reported.

The former Nickelodeon star will remain at the hospital till August 9, as a judge in probate court will rule on her mother's request for conservatorship.
