Julia Gillard has revealed that her memoir will be out in October 2014.
The former Australian Prime Minister said that she enjoyed writing and wanted to write the book in her own words, News.com.au reported.
The 51-year-old politician said that it was a struggle from time to time, and there are moments when she was pacing around the block to get a new idea, which she wanted to write it herself.
Gillard said that her book, published by Random House, would describe her "political and personal journey" and she wants to distil for readers what she has achieved, where she erred, her personal resilience and how she copes.
She added that she wants to share her perspective on the issues and how she strived to make a difference for the better every day when she was the prime minister.
