Justin Trudeau celebrates Diwali in striking Black Achkan

In 2015, Justin Trudeau made every India girl go weak in their knees, when he appeared in a white kurta-pyjama, dancing to the tunes of a Punjabi song.

Since then, he has been making everyone go gaga over with his impeccable style and today is no different.

On Monday, the Canadian Prime Minister celebrated Diwali with Indian community in Ottawa in an elegant black achkan, with white embroidery on it.

India High Commissioner Vikas Swarup was also present at the celebration.

This is not the first time Trudeau has dressed in a 'desi attire'.

The implausibly good looking Prime Minister has been unleashing his inner desi man since 2012.

In August, while attending the India Day parade, Trudeau looked dapper in purple Indian traditional kurta and pyjama.

Meanwhile in July, Trudeau wore a traditional green-coloured kurta and pyjama with a garland of flower draped around his neck, while celebrating the 10th anniversary of the BAPS (Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha) Shri Swaminarayan Mandir.

In June, he took part in Toronto's Pride parade by wearing socks that carried a subtler political message.

The socks read, "Eid Mubarak," honouring the religious holiday that marks the end of Ramzan.

In 2015, Trudeau donned a shalwar kameez at a mosque surfaced, sending all the desi ladies in a frenzy.

The festival of Diwali marks the return of Hindu Lord Rama to Ayodhya city in northern India after he defeated Ravana - the powerful demon king of Lanka - to rescue his wife Sita.

On Diwali, people light fireworks and illuminate their houses with different types of lights.

This year, Diwali will be celebrated on October 19 across India.
