Kamal Haasan 'has great respect for books'

Kamal Haasan has confessed that books have played a major role in his life and he has great respect for them.

The 59-year-old actor said that books are unconditional teachers, because you can either learn them or you can't, the Gulf News reported.

Haasan admitted that the has not attended a film institute or school but whatever he knows, he has learnt on the go and so he cannot exactly recollect or comprehend what and when he learnt a skill or started to use it.
