Communist Party of India leader Gurudas Dasgupta on Monday said former Supreme Court judge Justice Markandey Katju has exposed the corruption which has perpetuated in the judiciary.
Dasgupta told ANI, "It only shows how corruption has perpetuated inside the judiciary. It also indicates the governance to keep the government intact with support from a party of Tamil Nadu, then to remove corruption."
"It shows how over- whelming the corruption has corroded into the vitals of the Indian political system," he added.
Press Council of India Chairman and former Supreme Court judge Justice Markandey Katju has made a sensational claim about existence of corruption in the judiciary.
He also expressed his pain about the compromise which former chief justice Lahoti had to make in giving an extension to the corrupt judge despite an adverse Intelligence Bureau (IB) report against that judge.
