An official from Kazakhstan considers SpongeBob SquarePants as "hooligan" as he beats up his neighbor, misbehaves and enjoys doing that.

Zabira Orazaliyeva, who looks after children's rights at the Kazakh Education and Science Ministry, said that this hooligan behavior stayed in the child's mind because kids saw the cartoon character as their role model and they try to re-enact his behavior in real life, the Moscow Times reported.

Orazaliyeva also slammed cable channels that broadcasted the cartoon show that promote a "substandard educational message" as well as parents who allowed their kids to watch the cartoons "unsupervised".
