Kejriwal continues attack on CBI, Jaitley

Refusing to back down from his stand that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) illegally raided his office, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that the documents that were seized from his office had absolutely no connection to the allegations that were being probed.

"CBI kept reading DDCA file in my office. They wud hv seized it. But after my media briefing, they left it. Not clear if they took a copy," Kejriwal tweeted today.

Posting picture of the documents that were allegedly seized from his office, he said that the

'file movement register of last one month' had no connection to the probe by the CBI.

Attacking Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for 'rubbishing' his allegations on the Centre, accusing them of being involved in the raid, Kejriwal said that the former was a liar and questioned his role over the DDCA scam.

"FM lied in the Parliament yesterday. Why is Jaitley ji so scared of DDCA probe? What is his role in DDCA scam," Kejriwal said in another tweet.

A furious Kejriwal yesterday vowed to continue the fight against the ruling dispensation till his last breath and dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he was not at all scared of the CBI raid.

"The raid was conducted to look for the files of DDCA (Delhi and District Cricket Association) in which Jaitley is involved in graft cases. I want to tell Modi ji, you scared other people through CBI, but you have no idea what Kejriwal is made up of. I will keep fighting till my last breath for the country," Kejriwal said.

The CBI had registered a case against Kejriwal's Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar for allegedly favouring a firm in getting contracts from Delhi Government.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), however, hit back at Kejriwal for his unwarranted criticism of Prime Minister Modi following the CBI raid and alleged that a 'nervous' Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo is demeaning the PMO with his baseless allegation.

Refuting Kejriwal's allegation on the raid on Chief Minister's office, the CBI has said that the raid was conducted on the Principal Secretary's office following a warrant.

Earlier, the CBI walked into the Delhi Secretariat and took over the office of Rajender Kumar, next door to the Chief Minister, on the third floor and a livid Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) alleges that the entire floor was sealed and access was denied to the Chief Minister's office.
