American singer Kelly Clarkson, who gained fame as the first American Idol champion, is all set to return to the reality show as a guest judge on the first live show of the 15th and final season.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, American Idol executive producer, Trish Kinane has confirmed that the 33-year-old singer will be returning to the show, E!Online reports.
Trish also revealed that the 'Heartbeat Song' hit-maker will not only judge the show but will also give stunning performance.

The executive producer also said besides Clarkson, people will also get to see other familiar faces on the show before it wraps up.
