A Kenyan lawyer has asked for President Barack Obama's elder daughter Malia's hand in marriage, and is ready to offer the US First Family 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats as bride price.
Kiprono said it was in 2008 that Maila had caught his eye, and he hasn't dated anyone as a promise to be faithful to her. He wanted to put his "dream request" in front of Obama when he visits in July, The Nairobian reported.
He added that his love was real and even his family was onboard, totally backing him in offering more price.
Kiprono, who claims to be writing a letter to the US president asking him to bring Malia, 16, on the trip, said that if Obama accepted his marriage request, he would propose to her with his "out of the box" idea of mursik, the traditional Kalenjin sour milk instead of champagne, and tie the sacred plant, sinendet, around her head, as an indication that she was "his queen."
Kiprono had made headlines when he moved to court seeking to have William Ruto sworn in as president when Uhuru travelled to The Hague for his ICC case.
