WBC champion Vitali Klitschko has vacated his world heavyweight title for concentrating on Ukrainian politics and his role as an opposition leader.

Protestors have demonstrated for weeks in the capital city Kiev to objecting to President Viktor Yanukovych's decision to shun closer ties with the European Union (EU).
