X-factor contestant Lauren Platt recently got evicted from the semi-finals of the singing reality show.
The 16-year-old contestant had a singing face off with Andrea Faustini where Platt choose Faith Hill's love ballad "There You'll Be", while Faustini made his own inputs on Jessie J's "Who You Are", the Independent reported.
Platt's mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini gave her precious vote to Platt whereas Mel B and Louis Walsh saved Faustini.
Simon Cowell made the decision-making vote and opted for Faustini stating that, person who was most deserved should get a place in the finale.
Faustini has now joined the race of finale of the singing reality show with Fleur East and Ben Haenow.
