The biggest art and craft company in the US, Michaels has confirmed that millions of credit cards might have been hacked by a cyber-attacker.
According to The Verge, the company clears that the systems were open to risks from May, 8th 2013 to Jan, 27th 2014 and about 2.6 million credit and debit card may have been affected.
Michaels assures that customer's personal information like names, addresses, and PIN numbers remained safe.
The Craft company is giving affected customers 12 months of identify protection, credit monitoring, and fraud assistance service.
