India's nightingale Lata Mangeshkar was all praise for Shraddha Kapoor during a recent interview to mark her 87th birthday.
When the veteran singer, who has lent voice to many of the leading ladies of Indian Cinema, was asked for her thoughts on today's generation of actresses, she considered the 'Baaghi' actress as "very talented."
On a related note, Mangeshkar further said that Shraddha's maternal grandpa was her aunt's son, hence the 29-year-old actress is like a granddaughter to her.
The songstress even mentioned that she and Shraddha's grandpa had spent their childhood together.
Lata Mangeshkar said that though she has not seen any of Shraddha's films, she feels proud when people praise the star's acting skills.
Hence, looks like the reason behind the 'ABCD 2' actress' singing skill can now be understood. She is related to the legendary singer after all!
On the same note, Shraddha will be seen crooning for her upcoming film 'Rock On!! 2' along with Farhan Akhtar, slated to release on November 11.
