Lorde has tweeted and shared a picture of a photographer who she says had been stalking her.
The 17-year-old singer said that the paparazzo identified as Simon Runting had been stalking her, clicked her pictures and refused her privacy and therefore, she was scared of him, News.com.au reported.
The Grammy Award winner tweeted that this should not be an accepted standard for young women or anyone in this industry.
The 17-year-old singer also said that she refused to stay complicit and refused to stay passive about men systematically that subjected her to extreme fear.
She added that she understood that comes with the territory but she did not understood why she should be complacent.
The paparazzo is the same one whom Rihanna had blasted online last October.
