Towards the end of the first week, 'Lucknow Central' and 'Simran' are competing neck to neck with each other.
While the Farhan Akhtar-starrer received strong critical acclaim, Kangana Ranaut's 'Simran' has received mixed reviews.
The two films have been faring at parity at the Box Office. Since the release date, 'Lucknow Central' and 'Simran' have been giving tough competition to each other in terms of Box Office collection.
As per Box office India, both the films are almost at parity with respect to their day 6 collection. There is a negligible difference of merely Rs. 10 lakhs between both the films.
There has been strong positive word of mouth touting the rooted content of 'Lucknow Central'.
The film is also largely being applauded for its power packed performances delivered by Gippy Grewal, Ravi Kishan, Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal, Diana Penty, Inaamulhaq, Rajesh Sharma in addition to Farhan Akhtar.
'Simran', on the other hand, offers a weak story backed by Kangana Ranaut's acting prowess.
With both the films inching towards the end of their first week at the Box Office, it is Lucknow Central's content that has proved to be the audience's choice.
