Veteran BJP leader L.K. Advani today described himself as very fortunate to have not missed any of the meetings of the National Executive Council of the party.
"I am very fortunate that I haven't missed any National Executive Council meetings of this party", said L K Advani.
" I have never seen such an organized meeting of the National Executive Council," he added.
He also praised the work done by the party in the Lok Sabha elections which brought about a clear mandate.
"When Rajnath talked of 272+, people mocked and made fun of it. But the results said it all. It was remarkable . We came off well in most of the states, and there were states where the Congress could not win a single seat.
The party president was speaking at the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) National Council meeting, which is being held in the capital today.
