Maharashtra Mantralaya workers protest against 'Slapper' MLA Bachchu Kadu

Scores of workers at Maharashtra Mantralaya agitated after after an independent MLA Omprakash Babarao Kadu alias Bachchu Kadu allegedly manhandled and slapped Deputy Secretary Bhausaheb Gavit, an official there.

Maharashtra government employees working at Mantralaya, the state secretariat, went on a strike alleging that the MLA manhandled Gavit, and also accused him of beating the deputy secretary.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered against Kadu at the Marine Drive police station for allegedly slapping Gavit.

Mantralaya employees have been demanding the arrest of the MLA.
