Senior Lawyer Mahesh Jethmalani on Sunday refuted the rumours of being considered for the post of Solicitor General of India.
Speaking to ANI, Jethmalani said, "I have no idea if my name is being considered for the post of the Solicitor General of India."
The senior lawyer even added, "I was also not contacted by the Central government."
Rumours were at rife that the Central government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to appoint Mahesh Jethmalani son of former BJP leader Ram Jethmalani as the Solicitor General of India.
