The latest buzz of the BTown, rather the whole nation, is Sonam Kapoor's 'Neerja.'
The movie has gathered appreciation from every part of the country through calls, messages and tweets.
Producer Atul Kasbekar shared a video on his Twitter handle, wherein the brave-heart Neerja Bhanot's brothers Aneesh and Akhil Bhanot speak about the movie.
The video sees Neerja's brother Aneesh as saying, "The Bhanot family wants to express our gratitude to Atul Kasbekar, Ram Madhavani and the entire team. They promised us that they would keep the dignity of Neerja alive and that's exactly what they have done. Amazing!"
Posting the video, Atul wrote, "Fab little thank u from @AneeshBhanot n @AkhilBhanot #Neerja 's brothers bout d film. Thank u for ur trust guys."
Sonam too shared the video tweeting, "Love you @akhil46 and aneesh bhanot!"
The movie, along with huge critical appreciation collected a whopping INR 22 crore in two days at the Box-Office in the opening weekend.
On day one, Neerja earned a mere INR 4.70 crore but it saw a jump on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday it collected INR 7.60 cr while Sunday's numbers were the highest of the weekend.
Neerja, which released over 700 screens in India, has shown good occupancy in theatres across the country backed up by strong content and good word of mouth.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter page to share the numbers and wrote 'Contest Is King'.
"#Neerja goes from strength to strength. Fri 4.70 cr, Sat 7.60 cr, Sun 9.71 cr. Total: ? 22.01 cr. India biz. FAB! #ContentIsKing," read the tweet.
