 "Malala Yousafzai's suspected Taliban attackers arrested: Pak army")
Pakistani Taliban militants who were suspected of shooting activist Malala Yousafzai during her campaign for girls' education have been arrested, say army officials.
Army spokesman Gen Asim Bajwa said in a news conference on Friday that the group that had been involved in the attack was arrested, reported the BBC.
The men are now being interrogated and would soon face anti-terrorism court soon, said Bajwa.
The arrest was a result of a joint operation by Pakistan's army with police and intelligence services.
The teenager was shot in the head in October 2012 by Taliban gunmen.
The attackers had boarded Malala's school bus and opened fire on her in an assault where two of her school friends had also been injured.
