Man arrested in burglary attempt of Kid Rock's Detroit home

A man, who attempted to break into Kid Rock's Detroit-area home, was arrested at his home in Oakland County's Independence Township on Saturday.

The arrest came after surveillance photos from security cameras on the 42-year-old musician's property in Clarkston were released this weekend, the New York Daily News reported.

In the photos, the man on crushes can be seen ramming the gate on Wednesday afternoon and trying to break into the house.

A 1994 Ford Club Wagon van, which was used to force open the gated driveway to the property, was also recovered and impounded.

Kid Rock had issued a 5,000 dollars reward for anyone, who can identify the man.

The American musician and rocker had issued a warning on his website, which says because he is an avid hunter and marksman, he will not hesitate to shoot anyone who threatens either him or his family.

The post further says that he takes the invasion of his personal space very seriously regardless of the identity of the person.
