Manipur hosts National School Games 2014

Manipur capital Imphal recently played host to the 60th National School Games 2014.

The event was held in Thang-Ta at the Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium.

Altogether 150 players, including 78 boys and 72 girls, Under-17 and Under-19 participated in the event.

The championship was organised by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of Manipur, under the aegis of School Games Federation of India to promote Thang-Ta, a martial arts game.
