Mark Wahlberg has been roped in to play the lead in 'The Six Million Dollar Man', a classic television series that is now being made into a film, it has been revealed.
Wahlberg is going to star in the remake, which will now be called 'The Six Billion Dollar Man', Deadline.com reported.
Wahlberg will be portraying the role of Steve Austin, who in the original series was a former astronaut who was saved after a terrible accident thanks to some very expensive equipment that effectively turned him into a cyborg ad with those added powers, he then goes on to be a secret agent for the government.
The movie willbe directed by Peter Berg, who is known for his work in movie namely 'Battleship' and 'Hancock'.
