Matt Damon is of the firm belief that President Obama is being bullied, and that the American public should be a little soft on him, as he was only trying to 'bolster his manhood'.
In an interview with The Guardian, Damon, who was once a staunch Obama supporter, said that it's tough for the President as he doesn't have a military background and thus is being unfairly pressured into making unpopular political decisions, the Washington Times reported.
The 42-year old actor speculated that Obama's manhood is being challenged on some level and he is giving a tough response so that he does not appear soft or incompetent.
The Oceans series actor, who expressed his disappointment in the past about President Obama not being radical enough in bringing change to America, urged the public to cut Obama some slack.
