After maintaining a low-profile, the first lady of the United States of America, Melania Trump will attend President Donald Trump's first State of the Union address on Tuesday evening.
The White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, confirmed the first lady's attendance during the Monday's briefing and added that all of the president's children would also be there, with the exception of his 11-year-old son, Barron.
The first lady will sit with the 15 guests in her own box in the Capitol, reported CNN, quoting, White House, as saying while making an announcement.
This comes after Melania refused to join Trump on his trip to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos this week.
East Wing communications director Stephanie Grisham, who had earlier reportedly informed the American TV station that Melania would be accompanying Trump to Davos, later confirmed the change of plans and cited "scheduling and logistical issues" as the reasons.
According to the New York Times, Melania has kept a low-profile ever since a bombshell report which revealed that a porn star Stormy Daniels was paid $130,000 just before the 2016 election to keep quiet about an affair she had had a decade earlier with Trump - when the Trumps were newlyweds, and while Melania was pregnant with their son, Barron, has surfaced.
