Michael Keaton is in final talks to seal the deal to star in Legendary Pictures' 'Kong
The 63-year-old actor, who gained rave reviews for his work in 'Birdman,' would join the Tom Hiddleston and JK Simmons for the project, which would be helmed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts from a script by John Gatins and Max Borenstein, Deadline.com reported.
Universal Pictures would take the King Kong-inspired film, which would be produced by Legendary's Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni along with Alex Garcia, and Eric McLeod as executive producers, to 3D and IMAX 3D theatres in March 2017.
The film promises to engross the audiences in the mysterious and dangerous home of the iconic ape as a team of explorers ventures deep inside the treacherous, primordial island.
