Microsoft is set to rebrand its existing Office Web Apps with "Office Online".
The Microsoft "Excel Web App" and "Word Web App" will be renamed as "Excel Online" and "Word Online".
While the Office Online is expected to replace the existing apps in the coming weeks, Microsoft's office.com site will be refreshed to accommodate the changes, the Verge reported.
The Office Online branding is an attempt by Microsoft to make the online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote easier to access.
Microsoft is currently testing versions of Office Online internally to make additional changes and improvements.
