The Oscars are just a few days away and the entire globe is predicting who is going to take home the award for Best Picture. Indian singer Mihir Joshi has predicted which film could take home the biggest prize at the star-studded night.

The 35 year-old-singer feels that neo-musical, 'La La Land' can win the Best Picture award at the Oscars and also praised Emma Stone for her acting.

"Reminiscent of old school musicals of Gene Kelly but totally updated for the modern era. And most importantly I think it features one of the finest actresses of our generation - Emma Stone. She totally deserves all the accolades she gets for this role. Ryan Gosling is awesome too," he said.

'La La Land,' has written a glorious history worldwide, winning some of the precious awards of the year and is set to create a historic record this year by securing 14 Oscars nods (in the lines of Titanic).

Since its release at the Venice Film festival in August, 2016, 'La La Land' has been greeted with sheer praise.

The movie directed by Damien Chazzelle, reunited Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling for their third film together. The two stars who are also nominated for the Best actor categories, play two struggling stars in 'Hollywood' trying to make it big the musical way.

The 89th Annual Academy Awards will be handed out on February 26, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.
