Miley Cyrus has slammed Mike Pence, the Indiana Governor, for his religious freedom bill, which would allow businesses and associations to discriminate against homosexuals.

The 22-year-old singer shared a picture of the Republican politico with a pro-LGBT message on Instagram, saying, "You're an a**hole @govpenceIN. The only place that has more idiots than Instagram is in politics@braisoncwukong thank you for standing up for what is right! We need more strong heterosexual men fighting for equality in both men and women! Why are the macho afraid to love muchoooo?" E! Online reported.

Braison, Cyrus's brother, also took to Instagram, saying that Pence's bill was wrong in many ways and that people should tweet to tell him that he was an "a**hole".

Apart from Cyrus, many other celebrities including Dustin Lance Black, Samantha Ronson, George Takei, and Andy Cohen, have expressed their anger over the bill.
