Militant arrested from Handwara, J-K

A militant was arrested from Handwara forest area of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday in a joint operation by the Army and the state Police.

Last week, an army jawan and three terrorists were killed in an encounter in Handwara forest. The encounter occurred when a group of heavily armed terrorists opened fired on 21 Rashtriya Rifles. Naik Satish Kumar of Army's 21 Rashtriya Rifles died fighting terrorists.
