MIT has reportedly developed an app that lets strangers anonymously share their lives.
The app dubbed the 20 Day Stranger will pair up two anonymous participants and automatically send general information about what they're doing to one another.
According to The Verge, the app will reportedly share basic details that can be collected from their location data and accelerometer, including the activities of the person like biking, or sitting in a coffee shop, or hanging around an airport.
The app's site explains that one will never know who it is or exactly where they are, but the developers hope it will reveal enough about someone to build their imagination of their life.
Though the app is currently in the process of being beta tested, MIT's Media Lab is hoping to release it in the near future, the report adds.
