Michael Jackson's prosecutor Tom Sneddon, who tried twice to nail the musician on child molestation charges, has passed away at the age of 73 after battling with cancer.

Sneddon, who served as D.A. of Santa Barbara County for more than a quarter century, los the case against the late King of Pop in 2005, TMZ.com reported.

Sneddon tried to prosecute the singer for allegedly molesting a boy at Neverland as he believed that Jackson was a child molester.
