MP Govt waives off tax on 'Hindi Medium' and 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams'

To ensure that the film reaches to a maximum number of people in the theatres, the Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to waive off the entertainment tax for Bollywood movies 'Hindi Medium' and Sachin Tendulkar's biopic 'Sachin

Sachin Tendulkar's biopic 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' has already been declared tax free in states like Maharashtra, Odisha, Kerala, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka.

However, Irrfan Khan starrer "Hindi Medium" was declared tax-free in Maharashtra.

The flick 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' was declared tax free so as to honour the contribution of the 'Master Blaster' in the world of sports.
