Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed on Friday said that his government will create a conducive atmosphere for the return of Kashmiri pundits to the state.
"We have a policy of reintegration and bringing back Kashmiri Pandits to Kashmir. We have to make conducive environment for that," Mufti said, while addressing the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.
He further said that his government will constitute a committee to ensure the 'one time settlement' of those who have crossed over from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), also assuring the economic rehabilitation of such refugees.
"We'll make it a point that people who've come from Pakistan administered Kashmir must get a one-time settlement. For that, we will set up a committee. It will be our focus to rehabilitate refugees economically, I assure you that we will get them priority in private jobs," Mufti said.
