President, Pranab Mukherjee, will visit Maharashtra on February 8 and 9. He will have stopovers in Mumbai, Nagpur and Gondia during his two-day stay.
On February 8, Mukherjee will inaugurate the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Kishinchand Chellaram College at Mumbai. He will also inaugurate the 150th Anniversary celebrations of the Advocates' Association of Western India (AAWI) at the National Sports Club Complex, Worli, Mumbai on the same day.
On February 9, he will inaugurate 'Krishi Vasant', a national exposition organized by Ministry of Agriculture and the Government of Maharashtra at Central Institute of Cotton Research, Nagpur.
On the same day, he will attend annual day function of the Gondia Education Society at Gondia before returning to New Delhi, a Rashtrapati Bhavan release said.
