Murali Vijay has replaced out-of-form David Miller as Kings XI captain for the rest of the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League season.
The decision came after Kings XI won only one out of their first six games of the tournament, with Miller scoring just 76 runs in his six innings.
Confirming the news, Kings XI said in a statement that Miller continues to be an integral part of the team and that the South African is a very strong player of the squad, ESPNcricinfo reported.
Kings XI are currently languishing at eighth in the points table and will next play against Gujarat Lions in Rajkot on Sunday.
