Pakistan's former army chief and military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has said that a powerful government is needed in the country as it is engulfed in multiple crises.
According to Dawn News, Musharraf said that he cannot ensure that the issues will be resolved immediately if he comes into power.
Stressing on the need to strengthen the security condition in Pakistan, Musharraf asserted that he had armed the army with latest weapons and gears during his tenure.
He praised the country's army saying that as long as it is present, no harm can be done to Pakistan.
Musharraf also talked about the allegations against him saying that people who wished to try him under Article 6 for impeachment should first judge themselves under the same light.
