Music composer Aadesh Shrivastava succumbs to cancer, dies at 49

Music director Aadesh Shrivastava, who was battling a cancer relapse, passed away at 12

Shrivastava was being treated at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for the past 45 days.

Singer Sonu Nigam came to visit him.

Singer Shreya Ghoshal, Director Anubhav Sinha and music director Pritam were among the first ones to pay tribute to him on Twitter.

Shrivastava has composed music for movies like 'Chalte Chalte,' 'Baabul,' 'Baghban,' 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham,' 'Rajneeti' and others.
