Nagaland Governor Vakkom B Purushothaman resigned on Friday after the NDA Government ordered his shift from Mizoram.
He was reportedly unhappy over being transferred from Mizoram.
The transfer was made without consulting me," he had told media on Thursday.
Purushothaman was shifted to Nagaland after the government had transferred Gujarat Governor Kamala Beniwal to Mizoram on July 6. He was also handed additional charge of the office of Governor of Tripura.
