A new anti-malware suite has been rolled out that would help XP users protect their systems after Microsoft withdraws its support.

Although, Microsoft is said to be extending malware support for Windows XP users well beyond its proposed date of April 8th, the new suite by Malwarebytes would prove lifesaver for XP lovers.

According to PC World, the new Anti-Malware Premium suite unites five handy Malwarebytes products and offers a new interface for managing them, regardless of the OS a user is using.

The main technology behind the suite is a new malware detection engine that uses behavior to identify suspicious software instead of signatures that constantly have to be updated.

Although the company's prior aim is to nip malware in the bud, but still if the malware makes it into a users system, a new Anti-Rootkit feature can dig deep into the computer to eradicate all traces of it, the report added.

With 20 percent of Microsoft's user base still using Windows XP, the software giant has reportedly been forcing people to shift to other versions of Windows but knowing that other companies have got their back has provided them with a rare bright spot.
