Nicolas Cage has been hailed in Ohio for helping a father and the police to find a missing 15-year-old.
Britton Ramsey, stepdad of Alexis Boroviak, the missing girl, said that he thought the social media awareness around Nic's pic absolutely spread the word, adding that while he was searching, people would recognise him as 'the Nicolas Cage guy' and then stopped to help him, TMZ reports.
Eventually, Alexis was found and she was allegedly held against her will by 41-year-old Chris Schroeder, a man she reportedly met online.
According to reports, the law enforcements tracked her down through a social media link they traced back to the Chris' computer.
Earlier, Cage agreed to take a picture with Ramsey and the poster of the missing girl.
